Beck, Bogert & Appice live at Nippon Budokan:Tokyo Japan on May 14, 1973. The live performance was recorded at Nippon Budokan:Tokyo Japan on the first day, May 14, 1973. The group was called "the second Cream" and broke up in less than two years, but for Jeff Beck fans of the past, "Superstition," with its impressive introduction using talking modulators, is still fresh in their memories. BBA's first and last Japan tour was held in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and the best takes from the two official Osaka shows were edited and released in addition to the Tokyo show recorded in this album. The performance was recorded in Tokyo on the first day of the memorable Japan tour. The only performance of the night that was played only in Tokyo. The sound quality is very good for an audiorecording of that time, although there is a little bit of period feel to the recording. The studio demo of BBA's 2nd album recorded in 1974 is included. It is one of the charms of this item to compare the songs performed at the Japan concert with those recorded in the studio.
