The Toronto show in this album was the third concert of "North America #1," the first part of the tour. Such shows have been recorded for a long time and are well known and loved as a great record of the early stages of the tour. This is another traditional recording. What is most wonderful is the extremely thick core that makes you feel Bowie up close and personal. It is not the type of recording that could be mistaken for soundboard; it is vintage audio, but the core is thick and lustrous. There is no sense of distance in tone or sound, and it is truly on. Moreover, it is not just a powerful recording. It was an 11-piece band at the time, and even with that large band at full strength, it neither cracked nor chattering. The recording is a masterpiece, with Bowie's voice, David Sanborn's horns, and Mike Garson's rolling piano clearly visible from close up. Moreover, this is the best version. We have been able to soundtrack many of the best masters supervised by overseas Bowie researchers, and this is one of them. In fact, the sound of this work is the freshest ever recorded. Even if it is not in full color, the freshness and resolution are definitely present, and it has a beautiful taste that cannot be found in full natural color. The sound of this film is also of this very dimension. If the previous masters were scratched and distorted photographs kept in a wallet, this album is a beautiful sepia photograph carefully preserved in an album. The show depicted with that sound is also absolutely wonderful. The official release of "DAVID LIVE" was made up of several shows in July 1974, and this album was made one month before that. This album was made one month before the tour, and it is full of the fresh feeling of the third show of the tour, and the enthusiasm to break free from the spell of "Ziggy" is also very hot. In addition, the set is different, and "Drive In Saturday" can be heard. This song cannot be heard on "DAVID LIVE", "DIAMOND DOGS TOUR", "DEFINITIVE LOS ANGELES 1974" and "BOSTON JULY 1974". This is a fascinating master of the highest peak that only a researcher could have discovered.
