The "EARTHLING" era was a time when the band broke new ground with their digital sound, incorporating drum'n'bass and jungle in a big way. This is the first release of the superb stereo soundboard album of the EARTHLING era. This album contains the "Amsterdam concert on June 10, 1997. This is the FM soundboard recording of the radio broadcast. There are many excellent soundboard recordings from this tour, but the sound on this album is one of the best. Before we touch on the contents, let's start from the show's position. May 17-June 5: warm-up gigs (4 shows), June 7-August 14: Europe (46 shows) ←★here★, September 6-October 23: North America (29 shows), October 31-November 7: South America (5 shows) This is the "EARTHLING TOUR". The world tour began in June, with several performances at the beginning of the year, including a birthday concert on January 9 to celebrate the band's 50th birthday. The Amsterdam concert in this album was the third concert of the "Europe" leg of the tour, which was a dash for the start of the tour. As mentioned above, this show was also broadcasted on the radio, but the sound is completely official ......, or should I say, this show was really recorded officially. It is a soundboard that is also used in "LiveAndWell.com" for three songs, "I'm Deranged," "Telling Lies," and "The Motel. In fact, the sound is so overwhelming that the beats, which are the key to the new world, are so vivid and Reeves Gabrels' guitar so stereo that it makes your head whirl. Of course, Bowie's voice is also a breathtaking, brain-invading sound. It's exactly what you'd call "another LiveAndWell.com," but the content is something else entirely. Only "Telling Lies" has a take, and "Seven Years In Tibet," "Hallo Spaceboy," and "Little Wonder" are all from different days. In addition, five other songs are numbers not heard on "LiveAndWell.com," and the selection is delicious. LiveAndWell.com" was thoroughly narrowed down to the repertoire of "1. OUTSIDE" and "EARTHLING," but this album is much broader, with plenty of classics. A superb soundboard album of the birthday concert "MADISON SQUARE GARDEN 1997 GERMAN FM BROADCAST" is also available, but you can enjoy "Fame" and "Stay", "Quicksand" and "Fashion", which are not heard on that album!
