A special 50th anniversary edition of the legendary "Ziggy Japan Tour," an archive collection of Bowie's first visit to Japan in 1973, all of which have been restored with the latest mastering in 2023 based on remaining live recordings. This is a complete collection of the live archives of Bowie's legendary first visit to Japan in 1973, including the four Tokyo shows from the first day at Shinjuku Kosei-Nenkin Kaikan to the final show at Shibuya Kokaido, as well as the four shows in Nagoya, Hiroshima, Kobe and Osaka, all based on the best quality masters that still exist, and remastered using the latest equipment in 2023. The four Tokyo concerts up to the final performance at Shibuya Kokaido Hall in Tokyo, as well as Nagoya, Hiroshima, Kobe, and Osaka, were remastered using the latest equipment and compiled here. Disc 1&2 is the complete recording of the memorable Tokyo show on April 8, featuring "Panic in Detroit" and "Aladdin Sane," which cannot be heard on the other shows, and in the second half, the April 10 show, which was not recorded as an encore but the set was changed to include "John I'm Only Dancing" and "Watch That Man" were performed for the first time in high quality. Disc 3 is the third performance on April 11, and includes the encore "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide," which was not recorded the day before. Disc:4 is the final performance at Shibuya Kokaido on April 20, the last show of the tour after the regional dates, and includes a perfect shot of the encore "Round and Round" sung almost completely nude, taking off their costumes amidst a riot caused by overzealous fans to which the police were dispatched in response.
