Alcatraz, newly joined by Doogie White in place of Graham Bonnet, is releasing their fifth album with the highest energy ever!

Alcatraz was formed in LA in 1983 by former NEW ENGLAND members Jimmy Waldo (key) and Gary Shea (B), and former RAINBOW member Graham Bonnet, who left the Michael Schenker Group. Their debut album featured the famous Yngwie Malmsteen, and their second album featured Steve Vai, and along with the bandwagon of the MTV era and radio-friendly songs, they exploded in popularity, especially in Japan. However, after the super guitarist left, their third album in 1986 did not sell at all, and the band ceased activities, and Graham joined IMPELLITTERI. There was some dispute over the name of the band along the way, but then, more than 30 years later, in 2019, the band officially reunited after renaming the Graham Bonnet Band to Alcatraz and performing in Japan (Jimmy Waldo and Joe Stamp were also included). Centered around the three original members Jimmy, Gary, and Graham, with Joe, a direct descendant of Yngwie, on guitar, they released their 4th album ``Born To Innocent,'' which delighted fans with a stylized metal style that came close to their debut. Things seemed to be going smoothly for Alcatraz, but Graham, who always caused trouble, left the band the following year and resumed activities under the new name Alcatraz ft. Graham Bonnet, resulting in the existence of two bands called Alcatraz.

This work, "V", features Dougie White (ex. RAINBOW, MSG, Yngwie, etc.) joining the original Alcatraz in its remaining form. Dougie's addition has become an important factor in leading the band to even greater heights. Guitarist Joe Stamp, who holds the key to the song, explodes with his neoclassical, melodious, and aggressive playing! Keyboardist Jimmy Waldo, who also produced the album, says, ``We're very happy with this album.It's a rare piece of work that perfectly matches our musical direction and what we originally wanted to do.This song, selected from over 20 songs, is filled with the most positive energy ever!''

The album features legends from the same era, including Nigel Glockler (SAXON/dr), Cliff Evans (TANK/b), Donnie Van Stavan (RIOT/b), and more! !
