HEARTLAND has left a huge mark on the British melodic scene for 30 years since their debut in 1991. Their first new album in 14 years since 2007's "Mind Your Head" is finally here! The face of the band is Chris Woosey, an unparalleled singer representing England! Chris's career, which is still in demand in many bands and projects, began with VIRGINIA WOLF, which also included Jason Bonham and released two albums on major labels. Following on from MONROE, HEARTLAND was formed in 1990 with Gary Sharp (guitar), an ally from the MONROE era. In Japan, their second album ``Wide Open'' released in 1994 became a hot topic and recorded strong sales. It quickly gained recognition in the scene. Since then, the band has released nine albums by 2007. They have established a solid position in the melodic hard scene in Europe and Japan.
``Into The Future'' is the band's first new work in 14 years. Over the past 14 years, Chris has demonstrated his full potential with two solo albums and projects such as OZONE and SNAKE CHARMER, and his presence has continued to grow. This long-awaited release is a masterpiece that is worth the wait, bursting with melodies that have mastered HERTLAND to date! Participating members are also worth keeping an eye on; guitarist Mike Slammer (CITY BOY / STREETS / SEVENTH KEY / STEELHOUSE LANE, etc.), who has recently been known for his work with former KANSAS member Steve Walsh and as a producer, and Jed Rylands (TEN / RAGE OF ANGELS / TYKETTO, etc.), who is famous as a former TEN keyboard player, will be fully participating! Introducing a much-talked-about work that will shake up the scene once again! !
