Visions of Atlantis, the symphonic metal band led by Napalm Records CEO Thomas Cather, has released their first new album in three years. This time too, the trademark twin male and female vocals explode. Flute and bagpipe players also participate, adding drama to the album. A must-listen for fans of Nightwish and Epica!

Visions of Atlantis is an Austrian symphonic metal band. Its formation was in 2000. (Before that, it seems they had been active for several years under the name Vipera Aspis.) After making their debut album in 2002 with "Eternal Endless Infinity," they gained popularity for their European-style symphonic and dramatic sound. Their second album, ``Cast Away'', was released in 2004 on Napalm Records. Since then, they have released a total of seven albums, including ``Wanderers'' in 2019, gaining overwhelming support mainly in Europe. During that time, the band has undergone numerous line-up changes, and the only remaining original member is Thomas Cather on drums. By the way, Thomas is also currently the CEO of Napalm Records.

Visions of Atlantis will release their first new album in three years, ``Pirates.'' This time, of course, the trademark twin male and female vocals by Clementine and Michele explode. A familiar melody, overwhelming chorus, and symphonic arrangement. This is the finish of European symphonic metal. It is also impressive that the song structure is a little more complicated this time. Ben Metzner from the German folk metal band Feuerschwanz makes a guest appearance, enlivening the album with flute and bagpipes. A must-listen for fans of Nightwish and Epica!
