Elton John's monumental album "Madman" 50th anniversary reissue will be released!

The masterpiece ``Madman,'' which produced the hit songs ``Pretty Dancer (Dedicated to Maxine)'' and ``Levon's Life,'' is Elton's fourth studio album, released just two years after his debut. This album also served as the foundation for the 10 years in which they released numerous works into the world.

Recorded at Trident Studios in central London in February and August 1971, it was also the first album to feature all five members of the legendary Elton John Band line-up (Dee Murray, Nigel Olson, Davey Johnston and Ray Cooper). The album also features Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman, who plays Hammond organ on three songs.

"Madman [50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition]" is a 2-CD set that includes the original album, which was remastered in 2016 by Grammy Award-winning mastering engineer Bob Ludwick, as well as demo and rare recordings on CD 2. In addition to a foreword by Elton and Bernie, photos, and excerpts from a historical commentary that includes interviews with people involved in the production of the album ``Madman'', a 40-page booklet is included that includes photos and artwork of memorabilia from the ``Rocket Archive.''
