Darkane, a band centered around Peter Wilder, who was the drummer for Arch Enemy's first tour to Japan in 1997, has released their seventh album in nine years. Darkane is a band that has created a nuclear fusion of all heavy metal essences such as death/black/thrash/hardcore/industrial/technical/melodious/dramatic. This is a super powerful album with the return of original vocalist Lawrence from the previous album, and Peter's drumming is clear.
Drummer Peter, who accompanied Arch Enemy on their first tour to Japan in 1997, participated in Arch Enemy's second album ``Stigmata'', but left the group and later formed his own band, Darkein. They released their debut album ``Rusted Angel'' in 1999, and although there have been some member changes, they have released six albums so far, and performed in Japan in 2003. Lawrence, the vocalist from the previous album, will return, and in 2022, their 7th album ``Inhuman Spirits'' will be released, their first in 9 years.
