A new story for TTB begins beyond “My Dear Layla”.

A grand project in which the entire band read, connected, and created the same story during the pandemic.

This is the final chapter of a four-part new project by Tedeschi Trucks Band, a large blues rock band led by Derek Trucks, one of the three major rock guitarists of the new generation, whose last year's release ``Layla Revisited'' was well received, and five-time Grammy Award nominee singer and guitarist Susan Tedeschi.

●While unable to tour and isolated due to the pandemic, vocalist Mike Mattison suggested that as a way for the members to stay connected with each other, they should work on the poem "Laila and Majnoon" by the 12th century Persian poet Nizami, the source of "My Dearest Layla". This is a blockbuster work in which everyone read the same poem, composed songs based on it, and through repeated sessions, it turned into the most ambitious project of their career.

●This is the studio's fifth work, the first in three years since "Signs" released in 2019. A collaborative effort by the entire band to address a universal theme, this is TTB's expansive, exciting, and ambitious musical journey, spanning rock, blues, New Orleans soul, psychedelia, roots music, and free jazz. Packed with sounds that can only be achieved by TTB, the world's best live band, as well as guitars!

●This project ``I Am the Moon'', which will be released continuously for approximately 4 months, consists of 4 chapters: ``I. Crescent,'' ``II. Ascension,'' ``III. The Fall,'' and ``IV. Farewell.''

●Along with each release, a video directed by Alix Lambert (The Mark of Cain, Bayou Blue and Mentor) will also be released. This is the first project in their career where every song released is accompanied by a video.
