In 1996, they made a spectacular debut with the album "Peep" which later received a gold disc. THE RASMUS, who have been active for over 25 years and are now Finland's leading national rock band, have released their latest studio album, their first in 5 years since their previous album ``Dark Matters''. In January 2022, there was a shocking event when original guitarist Pauli Rantasarmi left the group, but female guitarist Emilia "Emp" Suhonen joined as his replacement. It is also the first album under the new system.

Multiple single songs have been released from 2021 last year to 2022 this year. The first song is “Bones,” and the second is “Venomous,” a collaboration with fellow band APOCALYPTICA. "Moon," the third album, "Jezebel," and the fourth album, "Rise," all have melancholy melodies and impressive Rasmus verses. Martin Hansen, the producer of the band's previous masterpieces, and Desmond Child were involved in the production of these songs, and they have a high level of perfection that greatly increases expectations for the new album.

The band will represent Finland at the 66th Eurovision Song Contest held in Turin, Italy in May 2022. They advanced to the finals and performed their single "Jezebel", giving a powerful performance. Although they unfortunately missed out on winning, they once again showed the world their ability and style as a veteran band.
