This is the sixth album and Japanese debut album by Captain Blackbeard, a melodic rock band from Sweden.

Formed in 2009, Captain Black Beard has released powerful albums such as ``Captain Black Beard'' (2011), ``Before Plastic'' (2014), and ``It's Mouthful'' (2016). In their fourth work, ``Struck by Lightning'' (2018), they steadily gained fans despite changing members with H.E.A.T's Yona Tee as producer. Their previous fifth album, ``Sonic Forces'' (2020), was produced with fellow H.E.A.T's Dave Dallon as the producer to mark the 10th anniversary of the band's formation. With the addition of new vocalist Martin Hosluner, the album, which leans more towards 80's rock, became a hot topic among melodic rock enthusiasts.

The band recently released their first single ``Flamenco,'' and about the song, they said, ``When I read a review of our previous album ``Sonic Forces,'' the word ``disco AOR'' was used to describe our music. I really liked it, so I wrote this song with those words in mind.The energy and tempo of this song is perfect for opening an album, and it's also perfect for opening a live show, so of course it's perfect for the first single." The album to be released this time, ``Neon Sunrise (tentative name)'', will stir the hearts of listeners with nostalgic melodies that incorporate pop and disco elements into the 80's melodic rock that has been the musicality of the previous album.
