Zentrix, the British thrash metal band that took the world by storm with their cover of "Ghostbusters," has released a new album! With its high performance and song structure, it is a song that will satisfy not only old Zentrix fans but also Bay Area thrash fans!

British thrash metal band Zentrix. Its formation dates back to 1984. The band was originally called Sweet Vengeance, but changed its name to Zentrix in 1988. They made their album debut with "Shattered Existence" in 1989, but it was the single "Ghost Busters" released the following year in 1990 that made them famous. Their cover of the theme song for the 1984 blockbuster movie Ghostbusters had a huge impact on metal fans. After releasing three albums, ``For Whose Advantage?'' (1990), ``Kin'' (1992), and ``Scourge'' (1996), the band disbanded in 1997. After briefly reuniting in 2005-06, they restarted in earnest around 2013. In 2019, they released a complete revival, ``Bury the Pain.''

Zentrix will be releasing a new album, ``Seven Words.'' Guitarist Christian Havard's comment, ``This is a work that has made great strides forward without departing from the past of thrash metal,'' perfectly describes the result of this work. For some reason in the 1980s, the thrash metal movement in the UK seemed to be slow to flourish compared to Germany and other countries. It wasn't until the late '80s, after Master of Puppets became a huge hit, that many bands started releasing albums. Perhaps because of this, many British thrash metal bands were heavily influenced by Bay Area sounds. Zentrix is ​​one of them, and its spirit remains the same today. High performance ability, song structure, and vocals that maintain the melody to a certain extent. Listening to this makes me feel like I've traveled back in time to the late 80's. A masterpiece that is sure to satisfy not only Zentrix fans of the time, but also Bay Area thrash fans! Andy Sneap handled the mix/mastering!
