Swedish rockers GRAND DESIGN's new studio album ``Rawk'' has been completed. A song with a great chorus, a catchy and melodic line, and a great point. The style and production that firmly captured the hearts of Mellohar fans are still alive and well. This is an album that has grown into something that can be called a Swedish treasure.
The band was formed in 2006 and debuted in 2009 with "Time Elevation". Their sound and make-up full of DEF LEPPARD taste became a hot topic and broke into the scene. After that, despite member changes, they released albums smoothly, performed live activities constantly, and steadily progressed into becoming a capable band. Packed with memorable choruses, crisp guitar work, and stunning production. This is an album that can be said to be a masterpiece that I put 100% of my strength into!
Although this work is based on 80's rock, it establishes the sound that can be called GRAND DESIGN's trademark, and has carried that style into the present day. “Carry On My Wind”, which shows a new frontier, has a somewhat idyllic and Irish atmosphere. This heroic song, reminiscent of Gary Moore's “Over The Hills And Far Away,” is the key point of the album. The song features guest appearances by Manegarm singer Eric Glaucio and Dawn Of Destiny guitarist Weid Offenbecher. Eric sings half of the song, and Veidt plays the second solo.
