The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, one of London's leading orchestras, and Def Leppard have teamed up to dramatically restructure Def Leppard's previously released songs, creating a sound that is grander and more vibrant than ever before.

This work uses the method of playing not only Def Leppard's most famous songs but also original tape recordings of hidden masterpieces along with performances by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. New vocals and guitars have also been added, which further enhance the beautiful orchestral arrangement. There are several passages in which Joe Elliott duets with his younger self.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra recorded at Abbey Road Studios on 22 March 2022. The album's producers are Def Leppard, Ronan McHugh, and Nick Patrick (who produced albums featuring Elvis, Roy Orbison, the Beach Boys, Buddy Holly with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and other orchestras). The arrangement was by Eric Goffen (Neil Diamond, Ryan Adams, Christina Aguilera).
