A remastered edition commemorating the 40th anniversary of the release of the mini-album "Star Fleet" released by Brian May + Friends in 1983. Only the Japanese version has SHM-CD specifications, and 1CD and 2CD will be released at the same time!

In addition to the single version of the title song, ``Star Fleet + Beyond'' includes the full-length album versions of ``Beyond Time and Space...'' and ``Blues Warrior.''

Also included is an interview conducted by Cynthia Fox on Los Angeles radio station KMET in October 1983, the day the single was released, and an interview with Bob Cobain on his show Rockline. Furthermore, the live version of "Beyond Time and Space..." performed at the Palace Theater in LA continues seamlessly to "We Will Rock You" from the same live, and then leads to a high-speed version of the same song. The Brian May Band is on fire with a lineup of Brian, drummer Cozy Powell, bassist Neil Murray, guitarist Jamie Moses, keyboardist Spike Edney, and backing vocalists Kathy Porter and Shelley Preston.

Rounding out the album is the full LP version of ``Star Fleet''.

"Everything that happened that day is right there, as if you were in that room," Brian says.
