A 40th-anniversary remastered edition of the mini-album Star Fleet Project, originally released by Brian May + Friends in 1983. The Japanese editions are exclusively on SHM-CD, with 1CD and 2CD versions released simultaneously!

Star Fleet + Beyond includes the single version of the title track, alongside the full-length album versions of Let Me Out and Blues Breaker.

Also included are interviews conducted by Cynthia Fox at Los Angeles radio station KMET in October 1983, when the single was released, and on Bob Coburn's Rockline program. A live version of Let Me Out from the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles flows seamlessly into We Will Rock You from the same show, followed by the fast version of that song. The Brian May Band blazes through these performances with Brian, drummer Cozy Powell, bassist Neil Murray, guitarist Jamie Moses, keyboardist Spike Edney, and backing vocalists Cathy Porter and Shelley Preston.

Rounding out the album is the full LP version of ``Star Fleet''.

Brian says that everything that happened that day is captured exactly as it was, as though you were in the room.
