PYRAMAZE, the multinational progressive metal band whose ``Epitaph'' was highly praised not only by progressive metal fans but also by specialized magazines, has completed their 7th album ``Bloodlines''.

The band's history dates back to 2002. At the call of guitarist Michael Kemeyer, Morten Goede Sorensen (Ds/Wuthering Heights), Niels Kvist (B), Jonah Weingarten (Keys), and Lance King (Vo/ex-Balance of Power) came together and debuted with the album "Melancholy Beast" in 2004. They are attracting attention as a rising star in the progressive metal world. Since then, with some member changes in between, they have consistently released works such as ``Legend of the Bone Carver'' (2006) and ``Immortal'' (2008). Although the band had a smooth sailing career, founding members Michael and Niels suddenly left in 2011. After careful consideration, the remaining members decided to continue with the band. After several years of hiatus, a new member, Jacob Hansen, who is famous not only as a musician but also as an engineer/producer, joins. As a result, the band has achieved a dramatic improvement in terms of composition and production, and the effects can be seen in the album "Disciples of the Sun" (2015) and subsequent works "Contingent" (2017) and "Epitaph" (2020).

Two singles from the new album, "Broken Arrow" and "Fortress", have already been released before its release. Although both songs are technical, they are melodious and dramatic with memorable catchy choruses, giving us hope that this album will be as high-quality as its predecessor.
