Hellripper, based in Scotland, UK, formed a band in 2014 led by James McBain and influenced by legends such as Venom, Creator, and Metallica.

The band gained fame with the release of their debut EP, THE MANIFESTATION OF EVIL, in early 2015. The band's first album in 2017, ``COAGULATING DARKNESS,'' received high praise from Metal Hammer magazine in their home country, earning them the nickname ``Scotland's Mosh King,'' and attracting attention as an up-and-coming young metal band in the UK metal scene. In 2019, the band signed a contract with Peaceville Records, which produced Cradle of Filth, and released their second album "THE AFFAIR OF THE POISONS" in 2020. It received high praise in the United States and was ranked on the US Billboard chart. In 2021 and 2022, they will tour extensively with support members and have a track record as a live band.

The third album, titled ``Warlocks Grimm & Wizard Hugs'', was created as an album that spotlights his homeland of Scotland, its folklore and history. Based on the musical background of 80's NWOBHM, which inherited the will of Venom, a ferocious album that runs faster and more intensely is completed here. Bonus tracks include songs that are only included on Peaceville Records compilation albums.
