Mexican death metal/grindcore band Brujeria has released their first new album in seven years! The Spanish vocals are also strong. Rumor has it that members of The Haunted, Napalm Death, etc. are participating.

Brujeria is a Mexican death metal/grindcore band. The band was originally formed in 1989 by Juan Brujo (Vo), Fantasma (B, Dr., etc.) and Dino Cazares (G) of Fear Factory, who used the pseudonym Asesino. Their debut album, ``Matando Güeros,'' released by major label Roadrunner in 1993, became a hot topic due to the impact of the cover featuring a real severed head. Since then, Brujeria has gone on hiatus and revived many times, moving closer to death metal and groovy. It is rumored that many prominent members have been involved in this band, including Shane Embury (Napalm Death), Jeff Walker (Carcass), Nicholas Barker (Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth), and Adrian Erlandsson (At the Gates). (For the time being, it is listed as ``unidentified.'') Since he also came to Japan for LOUD PARK17, many people may remember that interesting and brutal stage.

Brujeria will release their first new album in seven years. This work, titled "Esto Es Brujeria," explodes into the world of Brujeria, where you don't know how serious it is and where it's a joke. The Spanish vocals are also very strong. The lineup includes Patrik Jensen from The Haunted and Witchery on guitar, Anton Reisenegger from the Chilean cult band Pentagram, Shane Embury on bass, and Nicholas Barker on drums! Well, their true identity is unknown for the time being.
