This year marks the 50th anniversary since 1973, when he joined the band as the vocalist for the third generation of Deep Purple, and his 2015 album ``The Purple Album'', in which he re-recorded songs from the Deep Purple period under the name Whitesnake, is now available as a special gold edition with 2CD + Blu-ray!

In addition to "The Purple Album", which is the latest remixed and remastered sound source, it also includes valuable rare sound sources and videos, such as live sound sources from the Purple tour, alternative mix sound sources, and completely unreleased sound sources that Coverdale recorded for Purple's audition in 1972, which can be called a "treasure" of rock history!
