Italian symphonic metal band Elegy of Madness has released a new album with a new female vocalist. Fellow maestro Francesco Fellini of Fleshgod Apocalypse will participate in orchestral arrangements!

Elegy of Madness is an Italian symphonic metal band. Formed in 2006. After releasing a demo in 2007, they made their album debut with ``The Bridge of Sighs'' in 2009. We heard symphonic music featuring female vocalists, and sometimes ethnic styles. After that, they continued to gain even more popularity with the albums ``Brave Dreams'' (2013), ``New Era'' (2017), and ``Invisible World'' (2020), but in 2022, Anja Irullo, who had been the face of the band for many years, left the band. Elegy of Madness, who replaced them with new vocalist Kyrah Aylin, signed with Scarlet Records, the headquarters of European symphonic metal. They will be releasing their new album "XI".

They specialize in epic, symphonic, and very European styles, but their distinctive feature is that they have a strong occult flavor. As the title suggests, all of the songs in this work revolve around the number 11. Kyrah sings more powerfully than her predecessor. The orchestral arrangement includes fellow Italian maestro Francesco Fellini of Fleshgod Apocalypse, so its quality is guaranteed. Recommended not only for European Gothic/Symphonic Metal fans, but also for those who like Cradle of Filth and Rotting Christ!
