Therion is one of the bands representing Sweden, a metal powerhouse. The final work of the "Leviathan" trilogy, which has the concept of "creating what the fans want", is finally completed! Featuring a mix of female vocals and death voices, the symphonic metal that only they can create is intense!

Therion is one of the bands representing Sweden, a metal powerhouse. Formed in 1987 with guitarist and vocalist Christoffel Junsson as its core, they made their debut album in 1991 with "Of Darkness...". At the time, they were playing heavy-duty death metal, but later they boldly introduced orchestration and choir. They developed their own style of symphonic metal and succeeded in appealing to a large number of audiences. Among them, their 5th album ``Theli'' (1996), which featured a heavy chorus of over 10 members, is a monumental work in symphonic metal.

They have been releasing the ``Leviathan'' trilogy since 2021. Following last year's second work, the final work, Leviathan III, has finally been unveiled. Therion has always been breaking new ground, but with the Leviathan series, he has taken on the challenge of prioritizing what his fans want over what he wants as an artist. This work is also full of symphonic metal that can only be created by Therion, with a mix of death voices and female vocals. This is the finish that fans want. A masterpiece that should be listened to by a wide range of people, from extreme metal fans to traditional metal fans!
