NWOBHM heavyweight Saxon releases his 24th new album in two years, following on from his previous work which became an anthem for metal fans!

N.W.O.B.H.M.'s heavy hitter SAXON, who boasts a 45-year history since they started their activities in 1978, has already released their 24th new album in 2 years since their previous album "Carpe Diem ~Steel of Steel~" which attracted a lot of attention! An album that condenses the ultimate SAXON sound, which is a further development of the aggressive and dramatic previous work centered on Biff Byford (vo), the face of the band, is completed!

As with the previous work, Andy Sneap (JUDAS PRIEST, etc.) is in charge of producing along with Biff. The big difference with this album is that Paul Quinn (guitar), who supported SAXON for many years as an original member along with Biff after the previous album, has announced his retirement from touring, and his successor is Brian Tatler (guitar) of compatriot DIAMOND HEAD, who lived in the same era. Brian also participated in the composition of the album, bringing an aggressive blood to the band! The other members are the unwavering Nigel Glockler (dr), Nibbs Carter (b), and Doug Scarratt (g). The title song of the album, in which Brian participates and is also used in the music video, is a dramatic metal number filled with Biff's passionate feelings about the battle between good and evil, but the title ``Hell, Fire and Damnation'' actually comes from an old habit of Biff's father, and when Biff was young and did a prank, his father would say, ``What are you doing!?Go to hell, burn, and destroy!'' 'It was customary for him to get angry.

SAXON has already started a large-scale world tour, and a three-way tour with JUDAS PRIEST and URIAH HEEP is scheduled to start from March 2024 until June! With his exciting new album under his belt, the champion continues his energetic activities to take control of the world!

The Japanese edition bonus track is the live version of “Predator” (originally included in “Thunderbolt” (2018))!
