Heavy metal revival! Finnish power metal band METAL DE FACTO releases their long-awaited second album!

METAL DE FACTO, a 100% pure power metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland in 2017 by former DREAMTALE's Esa Ollatsaro (guitar) and ENSIFERUM's Sami Hinka (bass), has released their first new album in 4 years since their 2019 debut album "Imperium Romanum" (RBNCD-1296)!

With the goal of "Make Power Metal Great Again!", their debut album stunned the scene with its epic songs based on various founding myths and the concept of the Roman Empire. In particular, the first single "The Conqueror" has over 200,000 video views and over 600,000 streams on various streaming platforms! The album attracted a lot of attention in the scene, but due to the coronavirus pandemic that spread throughout the world, live performances were curtailed. In 2022, when the coronavirus pandemic finally ended, there was a change in the members who had remained unchanged since their formation, and vocalist Michael Salo, who had become the face of the band, left the group. Although it took some time, they acquired a new Spanish vocalist, Aitor Arastia, and started their second chapter.

Aitor's amazing singing in this album is powerful and promises a bright future for the band. The theme of the album is Japanese culture and history, which the band loves. ``Chapter 1 around the Land of the Rising Sun,'' from the beginning of the Amaterasu myth to the Mongol invasion, Bushido, and the Ako Roshi. In other words, they will be producing two albums with this theme. Leader Sami reassuringly says, ``This album is a timeless and powerful album that upholds the band's tradition and captivates listeners with power metal. We need to make power metal great again!'' The lead single "Code Of The Samurai" was released in the fall of 2023 and was very well received, and the album will finally be released in February 2024.
