Veteran German power metal band Scanner have released their first new album in nine years. This time too, they will capture the hearts of German lovers with their speedy and melodic power metal with a science fiction theme!

Remember the German power metal band Scanner? At the end of the 1980s, there must have been many metal fans who were instantly KO'd by "Galactos," the opening song of "Doomsday News (The New Generation of Heavy Metal)," a masterpiece compilation album that featured artists such as Rage and Helloween. Their debut album ``Hypertrace'' (1988), which also featured guest appearances by Ralph Scheepers, is a well-known German metal masterpiece. There is a strong impression that Scanner is a band that appeared in the late 80's, but in fact, if you include their predecessors, they started their activities in 1977, making them extremely veteran. Although they have disbanded and reunited several times, they have released six albums so far.

This is the long-awaited release of his seventh album, his first in nine years. In this work entitled ``The Cosmic Race'', only guitarist Axel Julius remains from the 1980s, but at its heart it is Scanner himself. With a science fiction theme, it is full of speedy and melodic power metal that will capture the hearts of German fans. Not only Scanner fans, but also German metal lovers, this is sure to get you excited. This is truly the return of a legend!
