Suicidal Angels from Greece, who continue to lead the new generation thrash scene, have released a new album. This is Nuclear Blast's return, with guest appearances from Rotting Christ's Sakis Tolis and Nightfall's Efthimis Karadimas. Mixed by master Jens Bogren.

Suicidal Angels is a new generation thrash metal band representing Greece. Although they call it a new generation, they were formed in 2001, so their career spans well over 20 years. Their album debut was ``Eternal Domination'' in 2007. They created a huge response by accompanying their local mentor Rotting Christ on their European tour, and were awarded a contract with German giant Nuclear Blast. After that, he toured with Kreator and established himself as a leading figure in the young thrash world. They are releasing their first new album in five years.

Titled ``Profane Prayer,'' this is the studio's 8th release and marks Nuclear Blast's return. As a Greek band, their theme is the philosophy of Socrates and Nietzsche, but their sound is of course aggressive. And this time as well, their characteristic moderate melodicness is truly spectacular. It's a masterpiece that will appeal not only to thrash metal fans, but also to melodic death metal fans.

Rotting Christ leader Sakis Tolis and Nightfall's Efthimis Karadimas participate in guest vocals. The mixer was master Jens Bogren.
