Aborted, Belgium's leading orthodox death metal band, has moved to Nuclear Blast, and their new album is a tribute to the classic horror movie! Guest appearances include Fleshgod Apocalypse, Despised Icon, and more.

Traditional Belgian death metal band Aborted was formed in 1995 by Sven de Calve, who remains the frontman and the only remaining original member. Their album debut was ``The Purity of Perversion'' in 1999. After recording the albums ``Engineering the Dead'' (2001), ``Goremageddon: The Saw and the Carnage Done'' (2003), and ``The Archaic Abattoir'' (2005), he signed a contract with the German giant Century Media Records. They grew into one of Europe's leading death metal bands. This time, Aborted has transferred to Nuclear Blast. They will release their first new album in three years.

This work is titled "Vault of Horrors". As the title 'Horror Vault' suggests, all of the songs on the album are dedicated to classic horror films such as 'The Devil's Sacrifice', 'Halloween' and 'Batarian'. Needless to say, the sound is Aborted style death metal, filled with the usual dark and violent fast guitar riffs. This is a great death metal album that you must listen to if you like intense music.

Guest vocals include Alex Erian (DESPISED ICON), Johnny Ciardullo (CARCOSA / ANGELMAKER), Ben Duerr, (SHADOW OF INTENT), Francesco Paoli (FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE) and more!
