A new work by The Black Crowes, the lone rock band by the Robinson brothers, has been completed. Their first new album in 15 years, ``Happiness Bastards,'' produced by Jay Joyce, has been released.

Fifteen years after their previous original album, the Robinson brothers release their tenth studio album, Happiness Bastards. While some might say this project has had an eventful few years, we argue that it has returned at the best possible time. This long-awaited album celebrating the reunion of this legendary band could be the thing that saves rock'n'roll. The Black Crowes put the anger of unspoken words on paper, letting electricity radiate from guitar strings and delivering stripped-down, gritty rock'n'roll. It's just rhythm and blues, hard and loud, without any luster or sparkle. Since The Black Crowes reunited in 2019, they have performed over 150 live shows in 20 countries around the world. They made a triumphant return and celebrated the 30th anniversary of the album "Shake Your Money Maker" that became the occasion. Upon returning from tour, they decided they needed something new for the lost time. The Robinson brothers and longtime bassist Sven Pipien headed into the studio with producer Jay Joyce in early 2023, transcribing past experiences through music as the band found its way back to its roots. The finally completed "Happiness Bastards" will be released in March 2024.
