Rage is a veteran German metal band that is very popular in Japan. Its formation dates back to 1983. The band was originally called Avenger, but in 1986 they changed their name to Rage, and released their debut album, ``Reign of Fear.'' Their fast and melodic style, which is very German, captivated metal fans all over the world. After that, they continued to release albums constantly and steadily expanded their fan base. ``Resurrection Day'' in 2021 was the first release in a long time with twin guitars and a 4-person lineup, and it is still fresh in my memory that it attracted a lot of attention.

This time, Rage will return to the trio format and release a new album. This work is titled "Afterlifelines".
