Wheel of Fortune ~Darts of Destiny~

A new album from GRAND SLAM, an important band that carries on the spirit of Phil Lynott (THIN LIZZY) to the present day! !

GRAND SLAM was formed by Phil Lynott in 1984 after THIN LIZZY disbanded, along with up-and-coming guitarist Lawrence Archer (STAMPEDE, ex-UFO, etc.) and keyboardist Mark Stanway (ex-MAGNUM). The band began writing new songs with Phil as the main focus and began performing lively, but the following year, in 1985, due to Phil's sudden death, the band ceased its activities.

Thirty years later, in 2016, the band, led by Mark Stanway and Lawrence Archer, reunited and made a comeback, performing at several festivals including Sweden Rock. In 2018, Lawrence began working with singer Mike Dyer and others on an official album that had never been released before, and in 2019, he released his first full-length album ``Hit The Ground'', but it failed to reach fans and was a flop.

However, he completed his second album “Wheel Of Fortune” in 2024! Featuring new bassist Rocky Newton (LIONHEART), this work is a masterpiece by Lawrence Archer and Mike Dyer that fully demonstrates the GRAND SLAM characteristics that will convince fans, and is full of songs full of guitar harmonies, including ``There Goes my Heart'' and ``Spitfire,'' which also had music videos! Lawrence's Gibson Flying V guitar playing is a true British hard rock that has fans looking forward to it! A wonderful thing that will make you cry! This time, in conjunction with the release of the new album, the previous work "Hit The Ground" has been reissued as "Hit The Ground - Revised", and due to the wonderful sound source, it has been decided that it will be released in Japan! This release is sure to please fans!
