FATES WARNING's Jim Mateos (guitar) teamed up with FM's Steve Overland to create the second masterpiece! !

A miraculous fusion between Jim Mateos, the absolute leader of FATES WARNING, who reigns in the progressive metal scene as an old stock, and FM's Steve Overland. KINGS OF MERCIA is a band that crosses the seas between America and England, and the band's name is based on the Kingdom of Mercia, which flourished in England during the Seven Kingdoms era.

In fact, this project was born in 2021 when Jim was introduced to Steve at the suggestion of British journalist Dave Ring when he was starting his own project, and with the participation of world-renowned drummer Simon Phillips and Joey Vera, the leader/bassist of ARMORED SAINT who worked with FATES WARNING, this mixed martial arts super band was started.

They released their debut album ``Kings Of Mercia'' in 2022, and performed a melodic-oriented hard rock sound that took advantage of Steve's mature singing ability, but since the songs were written by Jim Mateos, they created a unique HR/HM that was difficult to follow, and stunned fans. The second album, produced by the same members as the debut album, uses the continued interaction between Jim and Steve after the previous album to create a group of gems that have been further refined. While the main songs are songs that highlight Steve's overwhelming bluesy and melancholy singing, the combination of Jim Mateos' guitar work and arrangements, and Simon and Joey's lively rhythmic style has created a masterpiece that has further evolved as a band!

A DVD-R containing 3 PV songs is included as a first-time bonus!
