Progressive metal giants Dream Theater will release their 16th original album, along with the huge news of Mike Portnoy's (Dr.) comeback. Their 2021 album "The Alien" from their previous album "A View From The Top Of The World" won a Grammy Award, further cementing their position, but fans have been waiting for the return of Portnoy, who was one of the band's founders, an unparalleled talent, and was at the core of the band along with John Petrucci (guitar) in terms of composition and arrangement. It can be said that the collaboration between the two, which was realized in Petrucci's solo work in 2020 and Liquid Tension Experiment in 2021, became a thaw session that led to this time. The first single "Night Terror", which was released in advance, is a powerful song that embodies the ideal chemistry of this band, allowing you to enjoy a tremendous ensemble based on Portnoy's creative and transcendent drumming that unfolds in a dark, heavy and unpredictable manner. Total of 8 songs, 71 minutes, mixed by Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Arch Enemy, Megadeth etc.) as in the previous work. The Japanese version is a high quality Blu-spec CD2 version.
