Rock legends The Darkness are back. To captivate and surprise people once again, the band will release their eighth studio album, Dreams On Toast, on Cooking Vinyl in March 2025. Dreams On Toast marks a bold new chapter for the band. With their signature blend of flamboyant rock anthems and venomous lyrics, this album cements their place at the pinnacle of British rock. With its soaring guitar riffs, infectious hooks, and nostalgic yet fresh take on the genre, it's sure to resonate with longtime fans and new listeners alike. “God knows that what the world needs right now is Rock Sweet Rock. How can we, mere mortals with extraordinary abilities, argue against God? So we dug deep and thought hard about the music of a life-changing era, and created 12 hit songs. Here they are, smothered in savory oral ragu and piled atop the charred remains of their contemporaries." Dreams On Toast features arguably their best songs to date, but The Darkness will embark on their biggest UK headline tour in years next March. The ``Dreams On Toast Tour'' will conclude with London's OVO Wembley Arena on March 29th, and will hold 17 performances across the country. Supporting them will be Northern Irish indie rock hero Ash, who supported The Darkness on their legendary 'Permission To Land Tour' more than 20 years ago. "In 2004, when 'Permission To Land' propelled The Darkness into the major leagues, we toured UK arenas together. 21 years later, we're teaming up again to tear the UK apart before our epic crescendo at Wembley Arena next March. We believe in a thing called Rock!" says Tim Wheeler, lead singer of Ash.
