Harem Scarem, the pinnacle of melodic hard rock, has finally returned to the scene with their long-awaited return album Chasing Euphoria after a five-year hiatus! Arguably the best melodic hard rock band in the world, Harem Scarem was formed in 1987 by guitarist Pete L'Esperance and singer Harry Hess. He recorded a demo in 1989, which was well received and he signed a contract with Warner Music. Their self-titled album "Harem Scarem" was a huge success in Canada, followed by the release of "Mood Swings" in 1993, and with their overwhelmingly high quality songs and superb melodies, they transcended the boundaries of HR/HM and gained many fans in Japan as well.

Harem Scarem released albums regularly in the 1990s, and went through some twists and turns, including changing their band name to "Rubber" in 1999, before returning to melodic hard rock with "Weight Of The World" in 2002, but stopped recording after releasing "Hope" in 2008. They resumed their activities five years later in 2013, and have continued to produce albums constantly ever since. After spending five years working on their previous album, ``Change the World'' (2020), they have released their masterpiece ``Chasing Euphoria'', which is packed with their early musical feel and mature melodies.

As can be seen from the lead single ``Reliving History'', this album is filled with sounds reminiscent of their early days, and is exactly the ``Harem Scarem'' that fans have been hoping for. Furthermore, as a special tribute to Japanese fans, four acoustic songs are included as bonus tracks on the Japanese edition. The DVD is a special edition that also comes with a music video and album documentary as bonuses. "Harem Scarem" has sold over 1 million records in 43 countries around the world and had 12 Top 40 hits. Their concentrated energy will explode once again in 2025. A tour has also been scheduled and expectations are high for the band to come to Japan. The happiness they seek, the happiness that all melodic hard rock fans seek.
