Machine Head is a popular California heavy metal band led by Rob Flynn. It originally started as a side project in 1991 when he was still a member of Vio-lence. After getting a contract with a major label called Roadrunner Records, they made their debut album in 1994 with ``Burn My Eyes.'' Although their style was based on thrash metal, they successfully captured the groove metal trend, and they gained great popularity despite the dark days of metal. Since then, he has continued to release high-quality albums such as ``The More Things Change...'' (1997), ``The Burning Red'' (1999), ``Supercharger'' (2001), and ``Through the Ashes of Empires'' (2003). ``The Blackening'' released in 2007 is still loved by many metal fans as one of the most representative albums of the 2000s metal world. This year, they will be touring the US with In Flames, and will be performing at famous festivals in Europe this summer.

Machine Head will release their first new album in three years. Entitled UNATØNED, this album is exactly what Machine Head fans have come to expect. They have been eager to take new directions in their last few works. As a result, the work sometimes attracted mixed reviews. However, this time, the album is full of heavy, aggressive riffs, melancholic melodies, and anthemic choruses that are sure to make you sing along. All of these numbers are sure to look great live.
