Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie has released their first new album in 6 years! A large number of folk instruments such as fiddle, bagpipes, hurdy gurdy, etc. are beautifully fused with extreme metal. A must-listen to the unique world that only Eluveitie can create!

Swiss folk metal band Eluveitie. Its formation dates back to 2002. Debuted with the album "Spirit" in 2006. Incorporating a plethora of ethnic instruments, from Irish flutes to bagpipes, fiddles and hurdy-gurdies, their style shocked the metal world. German major Nuclear Blast then contacted them. Since their second album "Slania" in 2008, Nuclear Blast has been their home. Eluveitie hasn't released an album for a while since their last album, ``Ategnatos'' in 2019. But now, their first new album in six years has finally arrived.

This work, titled ``ÀNV'', is also a work that is very typical of Eluveitie. In addition to violin by new member Rare Sophie Fisher, Celtic harp, bagpipes, mandolin, and whistles all fly around, creating a perfect fusion of ethnic elements and extreme metal. The contrast between the death voice and the woman's clean vocals is also wonderful. Folk metal is no longer a rare style, but Eluveitie stands out from the rest. A masterpiece that will appeal to melodic death metal and gothic metal fans!
