Occult horror dark metal heavyweights led by charismatic Italian Steve Sylvester make their long-awaited debut in Japan!

DEATH SS, formed in Italy in 1977 by Steve Sylvester (vocals), started out as a five-piece band that incorporated occult, horror, and erotica. Although influenced by the ``punk movement'' that swept the world in 1977, they developed a style of playing characters with a deep sound and high musical skill. The band name ``DEATH SS'' was chosen to signify the symbolic ``death'' of the human condition, which literally means the death of Steve Sylvester, and its rebirth initiated under the light of the occult.

The band performed sensational and theatrical shows that were considered the originators of epic/death/black metal, and gained cult popularity a few years later, but the original band disbanded in 1982. However, in 1988, they reunited with Sylvester at the center and released their first album, ``In Death of Steve Sylvester.'' After that, the band changed members except for Sylvester, but the band has released 10 studio albums intermittently. The company has succeeded in establishing a strong position in Europe, including Italy.

After the "X" album in 2021, there was another major member change, and the current members came together and produced "The Entity", their 11th album. Together with Tom Dalgety, the British producer who worked on RAMMSTEIN and GHOST, they have completed a masterpiece that is also a horror concept album about doppelgangers.

The sound of this album is an easy-to-understand, catchy shock rock reminiscent of Alice Cooper, the originator of this kind of music. Not only is it gorgeous with a special deformed jacket and booklet, but it is also the first Japanese release to be released.
