Wada “Captain” Makoto’s 4th recommended album! The second album by Australian power metal band Carmeria makes its debut in Japan! A fusion of symphonic metal and gothic rock, the melancholy sound reminiscent of Camelot is irresistible to Japanese people!

Australian power metal band Carmeria. Its formation dates back to 2012. The following year, in 2013, he released an EP entitled "Awakening". After releasing several singles, the band changed members in 2018 and officially started as a band. In 2021, he made his album debut with "Advenae". They toured in their native Australia and spread their name, releasing their second album ``Tragédie d'amour'' in 2014. It was introduced on Captain Wada's radio and attracted a lot of attention, and the Japanese version of ``Tragédie d'amour'' has now been released.

When we think of power metal, we have the impression that Europe is its home, but Carmeria, who is from Australia, has a very original style. While the symphonic arrangement shines, the vocal style and melody are full of melancholy. The sound, which can be described as a mix of symphonic metal and the dark energy of gothic rock, is just as the album title, ``Tragedy of Love,'' suggests. This melancholic power metal reminiscent of Camelot is irresistible to us Japanese people!
