Bassist/vocalist Marko Hietala, a founding member of Tarot and known for his 20-year career in Synergy and Nightwish, has released his first new solo album in six years! A beautiful yet ephemeral work with a Scandinavian flavor, a must-listen for all Scandinavian metal fans!

Marco Hietala doesn't need much introduction. He is a founding member of the heavy metal band Tarot, and is one of Finland's leading bassists and vocalists, known for his 20-year career with Synergy and, above all, Nightwish. Since his departure from Nightwish in 2021, attention has been focused on what kind of activities Marco will do, and now it has been decided that he will release a solo album.

This is Marco's first work in six years since ``Mustan sydämen rovio'' in 2019. The title of this album is ``Roses from the Deep,'' as he himself boasts, ``There are no throwaway songs!'' Marco is highly acclaimed as a bassist, vocalist, and composer. Naturally, this work is also filled with beautiful yet ephemeral heavy metal that has a very Scandinavian flavor. Sometimes heavy and sometimes melodic. This is what fans want from metal. If you're a Tarot or Nightwish fan, or if you like Scandinavian metal, this is sure to be on heavy rotation!
