Paul Weller's latest deeply personal work ``Find El Dorado'' will be released simultaneously worldwide on July 25th. This album is a cover album that explores the essence of who Paul Weller is as an artist, having listened to a variety of music, revisiting songs that have touched his heart, and breathing new life into them with fresh interpretations and respect. "The songs on here are songs that have resonated within me for a long time," says Paul. "As time passed, I began to see new expressions in the song, and now I felt it was time to share it with the world." Two songs from this latest work have been released so far: "Rhodie Lola" and "Pinball." In addition, the booklet of this work includes liner notes in English detailing the songs he covered, and the Japanese edition, which will be released simultaneously worldwide, will include a separate booklet with a complete translation and a newly written commentary.

His latest work ``Find El Dorado'' is his 18th solo album. This work is the first album by Paul Weller, a leading figure in the British music world who has sold more than 11 million albums in the UK, on ​​his return to Parlophone Records, the label where he has released a wonderful collection of works from 2015 to 2019, and marks a new chapter in his brilliant legend.

``Find El Dorado'' is more like a map tracing his emotional and musical DNA than a cover album. From the quiet melancholy of Ray Davies' ``Nobody's Fool'' to the stinging pain of ``El Dorado,'' it's all the music that shaped his inner life. During his more than 60 years of life, Paul has internalized thousands of songs from a variety of genres. The records he listened to obsessively became the fuel for his own songwriting. This album, which provides a glimpse into the music that shaped Paul Weller as an artist, also features collaborations with notable names such as Hannah Peel, Declan O'Rourke, Robert Plant and Noel Gallagher.
'Finding El Dorado' was recorded at Paul's Black Barn Studios and Kundalini Studios. The album will be arranged and produced by Steve Craddock of Ocean Color Scene, who has become a familiar presence in Paul's work. He also engineered and mixed the album with Charles Leeds. “Rhodie Lola” is the first single from the album. The original version was by the unknown French group TheGuerrillas, and featured Manu Dibango, a Cameroonian jazz saxophonist who popularized African music around the world. Also released at the same time is "Pinball," perhaps one of the most familiar songs on the album, a diary-like piece by British actor/musician Brian Protheroe released in 1974 that chronicles the events of a weekend in 1973. Paul's version features a melancholy vocal that captures the atmosphere of the time, and the beautiful saxophone of Jacko Peak, who also participated in the previous album ``66''.
