American progressive power metal band Ashes Of Ares was formed in 2012 by former members of Iced Earth, Matt Barlow (vocals) and Freddie Vidales. They quickly secured a contract with German giant Nuclear Blast, and the following year, in 2013, they debuted with an album bearing their band name. The drummer was Van Williams from Nevermore. They released their second album ``Well of Souls'' in 2018 and third album ``Emperors and Fools'' in 2022, and have shown their presence. This time, Ashes Of Ares' long-awaited 4th album will be released.

This album, titled ``New Messiahs'', explodes with their trademark aggressive and progressive power metal. Their characteristic is a darkness that is different from that of Europe. It has a great sense of speed and great destructive power. Elton John(!)'s cover of "And The House Fell Down" is also unexpectedly addicting. Additionally, current Queensrÿche singer Todd La Touré will be making a guest appearance on drums. An irresistible finish for fans of US power metal such as Iced Earth and Nevermore!They have announced a tour to recreate ``The Dark Saga'' by Iced Earth, who are currently forced to take a hiatus, and are attracting even more anticipation.
