Veteran Japanese extreme metal band Sigh have re-recorded their 2007 classic “Hangman’s Hymn”. With the participation of Nozomu Wakai (G) and Mike Heller (Dr), and the use of real orchestral instruments, this must-listen work has been transformed into a completely new work!

Japanese veteran extreme metal band Sigh. Its formation dates back to the 1990s. After producing several demos, they released their debut album on Euronymous's Deathlike Silence Productions label in 1993. Since then, he has moved on to labels such as Cacophonous Records, Century Media Records, Candlelight Records, and Peaceville Records, and has released 12 full-length albums to date.

This time, Sigh will be releasing a new album. This work titled “I Saw the World’s End – Hangman’s Hymn MMXXV”, as the title suggests, is a re-recording of the 2007 masterpiece “Hangman’s Hymn”. This work, which is a fusion of 80's thrash metal and German symphony, was loved by many symphonic black metal fans, but it is also true that the performance and production had some problems. This time, it has been completely renewed with Nozomi Wakai (Destinia, etc.) on guitar, Mike Heller (Fear Factory, Raven, etc.) on drums, and Lasse Rammelt (Alestorm, Gloryhammer, Raven, etc.) on production. With incredible drumming and the use of real orchestral instruments, it is 100 times more symphonic than the original, and has been reborn as Sigh's most brutal work in history. A must-listen for fans of the original “Hangman’s Hymn” as well as all symphonic black metal fans.
