Mob Rules is a veteran German melodic power metal band that was formed in 1994 and has been active for over 30 years. Needless to say, the name is taken from the title of Black Sabbath's album. Debuted with the album "Savage Land" in 1999. Since then, he has continued to release works at a rapid pace every few years, gaining popularity mainly in Europe. However, they have not released an album since 2018's "Beast Reborn," which has made fans nervous. But now, the long-awaited new album is finally here!

This work, entitled ``Rise of the Ruler'', is a concept album set in a dystopia and is a sequel to their debut album ``Savage Land'' and their second album ``Temple of Two Suns'' (2000). The sound is very German-like straight power/heavy metal. Starting with their first single, "Back To The Savage Land," which incorporates the title of their debut album, they show off their veteran presence with heavy riffs, twin lead solos, and melodic vocals. If you like Gamma Ray, Primal Fear, or Orden Ogan, this is definitely a hit. True to the band's name, this is a metal piece that is sure to make you head bang!
