This is their 17th original album in total, and their second album with a seven-piece lineup including Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen!

Heavy metal guardians HELLOWEEN will drop their 17th new album ``GIANTS & MONSTERS'', their first full album as a 7-member band since ``HELLOWEEN'' (2021).

■In 2017, Kai Hansen and Michael Kiske made a sudden comeback and became a seven-piece band, touring the world. At that time, it was a limited-time lineup, but due to the overwhelming positive response from fans around the world and the response we received beyond our expectations, we decided to continue our activities as a seven-member group. In 2021, the seven members will release a shocking album “HELLOWEEN”. This work is the second album created by seven members with the same momentum.

■Since this is the second album by these seven members, you can imagine that they got to know each other better before creating the song. The first single ``This Is Tokyo'' has an impressive big melancholy chorus that Japanese people can't help but react to, ``Savior Of The World'' and ``Universe (Gravity For Hearts)'' burst with the melodic power metal God HELLOWEEN clause, ``Under The Moonlight'' has the brightness and catchiness of the early days, and the ballad ``Into The'' is sung by a duet between Andy Deris and Kiske. Sun'' and other songs, it has a more varied style than the previous work. [Andy Deris] "'This Is Tokyo' is a song filled with personal feelings. I've always wanted to write this song. I chose 'Tokyo' because it sounds better than 'Japan' in the chorus, and that city represents the entire country that is so important to me."

■Charlie Bauerfeind and Dennis Ward continue to produce the previous work. Dani Lebre's tireless spirit of experimentation and commitment to the highest standards, in which he recorded every track on three different drum sets, deciding individually which set would create the best atmosphere for the song, could only have been possible because of their presence. Like the work of rock giants such as IRON MAIDEN, DEF LEPPARD and RAMMSTEIN, it was done at the legendary Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Netherlands.

■The deluxe edition comes with a CD that includes ``Out Of Control'' by Marcus Grosskopf (b), which is not included in the main album, a version of the ballad ``Into The Sun'' sung by Andy and Kiske, and an acoustic version of ``Into The Sun.''
