Glenn Hughes doesn't need much introduction. He is one of the leading singer/bassists in the hard rock world, and participated in historical masterpieces such as Deep Purple's ``Burn'' (1974) and ``Stormbringer'' (1974). Last year we held a tour to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the release of those albums. Their soulful singing has not only been loved by fans all over the world, but has even captivated Stevie Wonder. His recent participation in the popular Australian hard rock group, The Dead Daisies, is still fresh in his memory. Hughes has also released numerous solo albums. This time, his new work has been released.

The title of his first solo work in nine years is "Chosen." ``When I have something to say, I write songs and make albums,'' says Hughes. This work is a deep exploration of his inner thoughts, such as what it means to be human and what love, hope, and faith are. The inside is of course the best hard rock. Heavy, groovy, and soulful.
