The Switch is a new group that brings together new talents in the melodic rock world, led by the Martin brothers from Nitrate, who are familiar to melodic rock fans. Brothers Tom and James Martin discovered the talent of Canadian vocalist Bobby John. They immediately approached Dennis Butabi Borg of fellow melodic rock band, Cruise, and started a new band. Tom Martin says: "This is the best work we've ever been involved in. James and I have never had complete control over an album, including writing and mixing, so it's completely to our liking," adds Butabi. “I totally agree. After hearing the first demo, I knew I wanted to hear this perfect mix of fun and retro vibes, a great cocktail that reminded me of growing up in the 80s.
