``Spinal Tap'' is known as the directorial debut of Rob Reiner, who is known for the blockbuster movies ``Stand by Me'' and ``Premonition'', and is a masterpiece of a cult movie released in Europe and America in 1984. Spinal Tap was originally a fictional heavy metal band that appeared in a pseudo-documentary film inspired by urban legends surrounding the rock world's biggest artists, but since then they have jumped out of the screen and appeared on various tours, charity shows, festivals, and on TV, including participating in a Freddie Mercury memorial performance in April 1992. Other collaborations include John Mayer, Cher, Slash, Adam Yauch (aka MCA of the Beastie Boys), Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, and Metallica. The band was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album and continues to be loved by many rock musicians and rock fans.

Their latest album is released to coincide with the US release of Spinal Tap's first new movie in 41 years, ``Spinal Tap II: The End Continues''!! This album includes 13 songs in total, including 9 new songs and 4 remake versions of their most famous songs. Documentary filmmaker Marty DeBelgium (played by Rob Reiner) also returns to capture the beloved metal gods as they contemplate their inevitable death. Featuring musical royalty such as Paul McCartney and Elton John, the members of Spinal Tap grapple with their checkered past to stage a concert that will cement their place in the pantheon of rock and roll.
