Recommended by Makoto Wada “Captain”! Finnish folk metal band, Folkrim! Folk metal has become a big hit with melody death and party elements! Formed in 2020. It originally started as a one-man project by vocalist Erno, but soon evolved into a band. The following year, in 2021, they made their album debut with ``Tales of Tumult.'' Their easy-to-understand and fun style, which mixes melodic death metal and folk metal, and is colored with party elements and bravery, attracts a lot of attention. In 2022, he released his second album ``On Foaming Waves''. Transferred to Rockshots Records in Italy. In 2025, it caught the attention of music critic Captain Makoto Wada, and the Japanese version of "Embers" was released.

In this work, their typical high-spirited fun remains the same!The heart-shaking flute and folky melody are reminiscent of Korpiklani, and are full of the forest metal feel that is typical of a Finnish band. It also brings in melody death and party elements, making it a good work full of variety, with the atmosphere of a big Finnish forest party. Folklimb received a great response after being broadcast on the radio, and now a new folk metal feast has begun!
