Omnium Gatherum are Finnish masters of melodic death who are rich in lyricism. Playing a unique and sophisticated death metal with fierce and brave vocals, melancholy melodic guitars, and spacey synths, they have built a unique identity that they jokingly describe as "Adult-Oriented Death Metal," standing at the intersection of traditional heavy metal, Gothenburg-style melodic death, and progressive technique.

With this album, their 10th album and 29 years into their career, the band's founder and main songwriter Marcos Vanhala (G) aimed to capture the band's full range: catchy hooks, searing solos, thunderous rhythms, and vocals that easily switch between aggression and melody. As for the lyrics, Marcos says, ``You can feel the spirit of the 90s.Although it's not autobiographical, it's reminiscent of our origins, when we played metal on street corners and had big dreams.''

The mix was handled by Swedish metal guru Jens Bogren (Opeth, Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquility, Babymetal, etc.).
